PA to the CEO

DESOTEC is an international environmental services company that helps protect the planet with sustainable mobile filtration solutions for the purification of liquids and gases.   

In this role, you combine classic executive assistance with a strong coordination and time management focus: 

• You manage the CEO’s agenda, setting clear priorities. You act as a gatekeeper: protecting focus time, critically assessing requests, and ensuring the right topics receive the appropriate level of attention.
• You are responsible for the practical and logistical organisation of travel and meetings, with a strong focus on timing, efficiency, and a smooth and comfortable experience. You anticipate needs by building in sufficient preparation time, buffers, and follow-up.
• You ensure SLT (Senior Leadership Team) meetings are well prepared, with clear objectives, the right participants, and you provide briefings to ensure the CEO is fully prepared.
• You capture the key insights from SLT meetings, summarise them, and translate decisions into clear actions, ensuring disciplined follow-up with stakeholders.

You are a seasoned professional who thrives in an executive environment: 

• You are highly organised, structured, discrete and flexible. 
• You understand how an international, commercial organisation operates. 
• You communicate with confidence and credibility at C-level, provide constructive pushback when priorities, timing, or quality are at risk and ask questions to ensure clarity before action is taken.
• You quickly grasp complex information from executive discussions and distill it into clear, structured outputs. 
• You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and have more than 5 years of experience in supporting C-level leaders or senior executives in complex, international environments. 
• You communicate fluently in English and Dutch; knowledge of French and/or German is a strong asset 
• You are digitally savvy, with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related collaboration tools.
